The Thai Yoga Massage course is designed to equip students with a deep understanding

of this ancient therapeutic practice, emphasizing its practical techniques, cultural roots,

and holistic benefits. By the end of the course, students will:

1. **Master the Techniques**

- Learn how to perform Thai Yoga Massage using hands, elbows, knees, and feet to

apply acupressure and guide clients into yoga-like stretches.

- Understand energy pathways (*Sen*) and their role in promoting the flow of *prana*

(life energy).

- Practice rhythmic compression, dynamic stretching, and static pressure techniques to

enhance flexibility, circulation, and relaxation.

- Identify and adapt to varying levels of pressure based on client needs, ensuring safety

and comfort.

2. **Professional Standards**

- Adhere to ethical guidelines, prioritizing client safety, maintaining hygiene, and

respecting boundaries.

- Demonstrate competency through practical exams that assess technique, pressure

application, and communication skills.

- Uphold principles such as continuous learning, gratitude for teachers, and mindful

practice.

3. **Cultural Significance and Historical Context**

- Explore the origins of Thai Yoga Massage, rooted in Thai and Ayurvedic medicine,

and its ties to Buddhist traditions.

- Appreciate the meditative and spiritual aspects of the practice, including the Wai

Khru ceremony to honor teachers and healers.

4. **Client Interaction and Safety**

- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify contraindications and customize

treatments.

- Understand the limitations of the technique and avoid massage in cases of specific

health conditions or injuries.

5. **Practical Skills and Proficiency**

- Perform a full-body Thai Yoga Massage sequence in supine, prone, side-lying, and

sitting positions.

- Use proper body mechanics and smooth transitions to ensure the practitioner’s safety

and the client’s relaxation.

- Incorporate traditional chants and mindfulness to create a holistic healing experience.

By mastering these techniques, students will be well-prepared to offer Thai Yoga

Full Refund (100%):

• Available for cancellations made at least 30 days before the course start date.
• A written request for cancellation must be submitted by email within this timeframe.

Partial Refund (50%):

• Offered for cancellations made 21–29 days before the course start date.
• Covers administrative and planning costs already incurred.

No Refund (0%):

• No refunds are provided for cancellations made 14 days or less before the course start date.
• This includes no-shows and cancellations for any reason.

Rescheduling Option:

• Participants may transfer their registration to a future course one time if the request is made at least 21 days before the course start date.
• Rescheduling requests made less than 21 days before the course will incur a 25% rebooking fee.

Exceptional Circumstances:

• Refunds or transfers for cancellations within 14 days may be considered on a case-by-case basis for emergencies (e.g., medical issues) with supporting documentation.

This includes, but is not limited to, individuals who demonstrate a lack of requisite educational qualifications, display disrespectful or mean behaviour towards the teacher or peers, and or engages in racist or hateful conduct. If such cases, no refund, exchange, or return will be provided.
• We also reserve the right to revoke a diploma and report such actions to the relevant association or regulatory body if a therapist endangers their life, a client’s life, or engages in behavior including, but not limited to, spreading hate, racism, or misinformation. In such cases, no refund, exchange, or return will be issued.
